The Wabi Sabi
Wabi Sabi House is a modern residence designed with a muted material palette, clean architectural lines, and natural finishes.
The interiors combine textured concrete surfaces, warm wood flooring, dark green cabinetry, brass fixtures, built-in shelving, and large windows that open the living areas to the surrounding greenery.
The main spaces include an open living room, kitchen, dining area, and lounge zones. A black fireplace volume anchors the living area, while skylights and floor-to-ceiling glass bring natural light into the home. The kitchen features concrete countertops, dark cabinetry, and brass details that add contrast to the minimal design.
The project brings together wabi-sabi-inspired interiors, modern California design, and functional family living through raw textures, soft neutral tones, natural light, and carefully selected materials.
“Never thought I needed a designer until we met Nofar. She really put our vision to life. From the moment we met Nofar, she was very approachable and wanted to work with us the way we sought out to work.
Through our inspiration pictures she gave us renderings and from the start we absolutely loved what she provided. Throughout the process she had regular check ins making sure it's up to par on her design.”
